Parkside Medical Centre is accredited as a GP training Practice
Being a Training Practice is a mark of quality and practices have to go through a rigorous selection process before they can receive GP Registrars
Our Training Doctors are: Dr Lawal / Dr Kuttappan / Dr Teckchandani
ST3 doctors
An ST3 GP registrar is a qualified doctor and has now decided to pursue a career in general practice.
This is their third year of GP training and will have their own surgeries, but they will still be supervised by their GP trainer. The ST3 doctor will be with the surgery for one year.
GP Registrars are experienced doctors who have decided on a career in General Practice. Before they come to the practice they have worked for several years as hospital doctors and are learning to adapt their medical skills and knowledge to the General Practice environment.
Our Current Registrars are:
Dr P Duckenfield (ST3)

FY2 doctors are placed within a practice for four months and will have their own surgery where they will see patients. They are supervised by our GP trainer during their experience of working in general practice.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients within the practice and are your first point of contact for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services, results and direct you to the right person depending on your query. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries.
Our receptionists will ask the reason for your appointment, this is to ensure that you are booked with the most appropriate clinician.
